Justin earned the Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP®) designation from the American College in 2016, in response to his clients' need for a more thoughtful and detailed retirement income planning approach. The RICP® designation combines multiple disciplines, incorporates contributions from 45 of the nation's top retirement planning experts, and educates on mitigating 18 major retirement risks that clients face in retirement. Justin completed his training and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in the fall of 2014, which was a culmination of years of study and hard work. The CFP® designation is the most comprehensive, prestigious, and widely recognized mark of someone practicing in the financial services industry. Justin also has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations early in his career through the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU®, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. Your Chartered Financial Consultant has completed the most extensive educational program required for any financial services credential. Each ChFC® has taken eight or more college-level courses on all aspects of financial planning from The American College, a non-profit educator with the highest level of academic accreditation.
The average study time for the program is over 400 hours, and advisors frequently spend years earning this coveted distinction. Each ChFC® must also complete a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education every two years and must meet extensive experience requirements to ensure that you get the professional financial advice you need.
